We will be open all day from 12pm August Bank Holiday Monday 31st August and will be serving pies as well as soup and sandwiches until around 3pm or when supplies run out! Monday evening is already fully booked so please call to book if you would like to visit for lunch.

As many of you know, The George Inn is quite small, and while we have a lovely outdoor courtyard, seating is limited. We highly recommend booking a table if you’d like to dine with us at lunch or in the evening. We always do our best to accommodate walk in's but sometimes it is not possible. We always reserve dinner tables for our resident guests, and with many visitors staying over the coming months, booking is especially important.
During peak food service times, we may not be able to accommodate those inside just stopping in for a drink, and we may not be able to accommodate groups larger than six or bus parties without prior arrangements. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to welcoming you to The George soon!
