UPCOMING EVENTS and SPECIAL NOTICES for THE GEORGE from Ed and Jackie
Saturday 22nd April we are celebrating St. Georges Day one day early with a Folk Music evening. Reserve a table for Dinner to ensure you don't miss out on the fun.
To all our customers- please be aware that as The George is very small and very popular it is always advisable to book a table if you are hoping to dine with us - especially on weekends and as Summer approaches throughout the week. We would also advise that those of you who are walking and planning to have a drink at The George that during core service times and especially on Saturday's and Sunday's we may have to request that you take your drinks outside due to booking and capacity constraints. For large groups it is especially important to give us advance notice of your plans to enjoy some excellent ales and hospitality at The George to ensure that we can do our best to accommodate you. Please be aware however that we have a lovely beer patio which is a real sun trap ( if shining !) where we are happy to serve food weather permitting.
