The Annual meeting of The Hubberholme Parliament (AKA Landletting) takes place on Monday 6 January 2025. Proceedings commence with a short Service of Prayer at 8.00 pm at St Michael and All Angels followed by the auction of the Poor Pasture, held at The George.
And finally....The George will be closed from 7th January 2025 for our usual annual break, reopening on Saturday 1 February 2025

As many of you will know, The George Inn is not a big place and although we have our lovely outside courtyard, tables are limited and we would strongly recommend that you book a table if you would like to eat with us, either at lunchtime or in the evening. We always reserve tables for dinner for our resident guests and during the next few months we do have a lot of folks staying with us - hence booking is really quite important.
During food service times, we may not be able to accommodate folks just wanting a drink, nor can we accommodate groups of more than six or bus parties without a prior reservation. Thank you for your understanding!!
